Upcount: an open source and multiplatform invoicing application
Manage invoices is not an easy task. This is why having an open source and multiplatform tool can be very useful to efficiently issue and monitor your billing. This is precisely what proposes to do Upcount.
What is Upcount?
First of all, you should know that Upcount is not an accounting software but a billing tool and customer follow-up. This software is not only free but it is also cross-platform. In other words, this free invoicing software is available on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Upcount was designed by developer Madis Vaïn. This software allows you to create invoices for your customers and manage them in a very simple way. The application has a simple and intuitive interface that will allow you to create an invoicing system specific to each of your customers. It will also allow you to easily track bill payment.
You will be able to assign a specific status after the edition of each invoice. You can choose between “draft”, “confirmed”, “paid”, “late” or even “cancel”.
Personalize each of your invoices!
Upcount also offers you the possibility of personalizing each invoice that you create by including, for example, the logo and the contact details of your company. You can also enter the payment methods, taxes and additional costs, without forgetting the due dates, payment conditions and any other annotation.
However, even though Upcount is available in several languages, it is not yet available in French. Nevertheless, it remains very easy to use even for non-English speakers. And if your heart tells you, know that you can very easily contribute to the project by offering, for example, a French translation of the tool. All translation files are available in the “locales” folder on the GitHub platform.
You can download Upcount from its official website Where on GitHub.
